Making villages better through the Zero Hunger Project
To improve the livelihood of people in rural areas and develop programs in food security, income generation, education, and
infrastructure, Good Neighbors implemented the Saemaul Zero Hunger Communities Project (SZHCP) of the
World Food Program (WFP) in partnership with Tanzanian and Bangladesh local governments from 2014 to 2018.
Wishing Well: a $10k single gift to clean water
Earlier this year we had a very moving surprise: a single donation of $10,000 to our Wishing Well Project. The initiative, under the Good Water project umbrella, provides clean water in Zambia, where numerous communities suffer from remote water sources that are contaminated.
Books for Betterment: over 4,700 books distributed in Ethiopia
We have received the final report from Good Neighbors Ethiopia about our Books for Betterment 2018 Campaign, after we raised $10,818 for supplementary books in Addis Ababa.
