Good Neighbors Canada at the Coldest Night of the Year walk-a-thon
We were also pleased to be one of the event’s sponsors this year. The purpose of walking when is cold is to give people a small idea of the challenges faced by those who lack shelter during winter.
Wishing Well: over 950 lives changed
Three wells have been built in Zambia, thanks to a single donation of $10,000 to our Wishing Well Project last year. In one and a half years, we have built four wells in communities that didn’t have clean, readily available water.
$6,000 donated to Australian fire-ravaged communities
We have committed to $6,000 from our emergency relief fund in response to the Australian fires. Through Good Neighbors Australia, a total of AUD 10,000 will be donated to OzHarvest across a 6-month period.
