Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Job Description
Good Neighbours Canada is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support the development of our charity’s branding and communications strategies. The role is responsible for developing and executing digital communications and fundraising campaigns that strengthen GNCA’s digital presence, engage Canadian audiences, and effectively showcase our programs and impact through our website and social media platforms such as Instagram to support brand growth and donor engagement.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in digital storytelling, campaign analytics, and donor engagement strategies, with demonstrated ability to convert online engagement into measurable fundraising outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining creativity with data driven strategy to make a tangible impact on humanitarian work.

Contract Details
Hours: Part time. 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, scheduled between 8:00am to 4:30pm EST.

Work Arrangement: Flexible hybrid between on-site at our Scarborough office and remote work. Schedule to be finalized with the successful candidate

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management
● Develop and implement a digital content strategy aligned with GNCA’s fundraising campaigns to support donor acquisition and retention goals.
● Create and curate compelling content across social platforms with clear calls to action.
● Engage with online audiences and respond to inquiries in a timely, brand-aligned manner.
● Support storytelling initiatives that highlight the impact of our projects.
● Monitor digital campaign performance including click-through rate, conversion rate, and donor acquisition metrics to inform ongoing optimization.
● Craft engaging, persuasive, and donor-focused written content for websites, social media, newsletters, and campaigns.
● Manage paid social media campaigns and PPC budgets effectively. Maintain consistent tone and messaging across all channels.

Digital Campaign Performance
● Support emergency appeals, matched giving campaigns, and thematic fundraising initiatives through digital channels.
● Develop campaign landing pages, email journeys, and retargeting strategies to improve online giving conversion.
● Track and report on digital fundraising KPIs including engagement, conversion rate, and donor acquisition cost.
● Collaborate with the Programs team to translate project outcomes into donor-facing campaign narratives.

Marketing Material Production
● Create and adapt digital marketing assets including short-form video, email campaign creatives, and campaign landing page content.
● Ensure visual and messaging consistency across digital fundraising platforms in alignment with GN International brand guidelines.
● Support A/B testing of campaign visuals and messaging to improve donor engagement and response.

Online Fundraising
● Develop and execute innovative online fundraising strategies aligned with Good Neighbours International brand guidelines.
● Develop and optimize digital fundraising campaign funnels that support donor journey from awareness to donation.
● Track, analyze, and report on fundraising performance and audience engagement.

Qualifications
● A portfolio showcasing relevant work is required.
● English fluency in speaking and writing is essential.
● (Working towards) Qualification in Human Rights / International Development / Marketing / Communications or similar preferable.
● Proficiency in Figma, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite preferred, similar graphic design tools considered.
● Previous experience in nonprofits preferable.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills.
● Ability to work collaboratively across Programs, Fundraising, and Communications functions in a deadline-driven environment.
● Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
● Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Senior Exercise Workshop – Facilitator (Korean)

Facilitators for Senior Exercise Workshop: “HAPPY BODY, HAPPY MIND”
Good Neighbours Canada is seeking professional facilitators for our 12-week senior exercise program designed to promote physical health and social vitality among Korean seniors in Toronto.

1. Recruitment Categories

  • May (Gentle Yoga): Customized fitness guidance for seniors.
  • September (Balance & Strength): Fall prevention and strength training.
  • October (Dance & Rhythm): Low-intensity dance (Korean traditional, line dance, etc.).
2.Qualifications
  • Language: Fluency in Korean is required.
  • Experience: Proven experience in fitness training, facilitation, and conducting group workshops.
  • Preferred Attributes:
    • Previous experience leading senior-focused exercise programs.
    • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Physiotherapist, Yoga facilitator, Exercise Rehab Specialist).
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a respectful attitude toward seniors.
3. Workshop Details
  • Schedule: Starting May 5, 2026 / Every Tuesday at 1:00 PM (4-week commitment per category).
  • Target Audience: Up to 35 Korean seniors (Aged 65+).
  • Location: Joyful Church (1100 Petrolia Rd, North York).
